Sensi founder & designer Stephany Sensi, launched her company 2010, with genuine panama hats, woven handbags and other accessories, all of which are made by hand. In 2014 Sensi introduced their Ready to Wear collection, focusing on embroidered summer dresses. All of Sensi’s products are handmade in Ecuador, with an artisanal concept paired with a current approach and design aesthetic to serve the needs of their discerning clientele.
At the core of Sensi is a commitment to social responsibility, partnering closely with artisans to create beautiful, high quality pieces. Sensi’s artisans are primarily women in the Andean region, with whom they partner to provide work and fair compensation for the development of their communities.
All Sensi customers help in the effort to support the artisan community throughout the Andes region in Ecuador. Sensi’s main goal is to provide creative work opportunities to their artisans, where they can show off their craft and abilities and maintain the millenary craft of weaving Toquilla Straw, creating beautiful, unique pieces for their clientele to enjoy.
